Wuhan suspension monorail tourism line(FITSCO JeRail®FAO signaling system)
On September 26, 2023, the first suspended
monorail commercial line in China - "Optical Valley Photon" was put into operation.
Equipped with FITSCO's self-developed JeRail®FAO signaling system, it is a
fully automated driverless train that supports the GoA4 level. The train loaded
with "intelligent brain" automatically gallops between the Optical
Valley ecological corridor which forming a nice scenery.
The Wuhan suspension monorail phase I line
is 10.5 kilometers long, with 6 stations, starting from Jiufengshan and ending
in Longquanshan, the whole line is laid on an elevated frame, and can be
transferred with metro and tram lines. The train is equipped with a fully
automated operating system (FAO) with a maximum operating speed of 60 km/h,
enabling the train to carry passengers on the line without human intervention.
As a light, low-cost, green and low-carbon mode of public transportation, it
will promote the traffic connection between the tourist special line stations
and tourism products in the planned area, and create a world-class golden
"cross axis" where the North-South ecological corridor meets the
east-west scientific and technological innovation corridor.
Based on years
of experience in developing rail transit operation control system products for
medium and low volume systems, the FITSCO project team provided customized
services for the project and achieved technological innovation in beacon, axle
counting and related functions. The project team provides a deep integrated
solution of signaling system and comprehensive monitoring for this project,
green intelligence, and lightweight suspended monorail operation control
system.
The operation of the Optical Valley suspension
monorail tourism line marks the first domestic air rail line officially put
into commercial application, tourists can take the "Optical Valley
photon" in the 270°"viewing platform" overlooking the beauty of
the Optical Valley.
